Water is used a lot in chemical plants.

Filters are also used in chemical plants.

However, the idea of using filters for water is very important in some industries, but is overlooked in others.

I will explain the relationship between water and filters.

Water contains many foreign substances

There is a lot of water on Earth, and in some environments, such as Japan, it is a common occurrence.

Even if we just say water, it contains a lot of foreign substances chemically.

Just because it is water doesn’t mean that any water can be used anywhere;

it can only be used as long as the foreign substances are not a problem.

Drinking water has strict standards

The water we drink every day is something that has passed very strict standards for foreign matter.

To achieve this, it has undergone various treatments.

On the other hand, untreated water comes from rivers and oceans.

Domestic wastewater is also untreated water.

You wouldn’t want to drink untreated water as is, would you?

Filter removes various foreign objects

There are various ways to remove foreign matter from water.

Basically, they are removed using physical methods, with chemical methods available for even greater precision.

Physical removal involves solids separation by sedimentation and solids removal by filters.

Filter removal performance depends on the size of the filter.

The smaller the mesh size, the more foreign matter can be removed, but the greater the pressure loss.

It is a good idea to divide the degree of foreign matter removal into several stages depending on the quality of the water used, and prepare several types of filters to suit those needs.
